Quote from Jody:
"Tom dropped tacos all over me, and Alan poured beer on me, so basically it's been just another Belt-Rollenhagen reunion." Love that!!
Yesterday was fun -- spent it taking the Gray Line tour bus around the city for a couple of hours, saw the sea lions at Fisherman's Wharf, toured the wax museum (creepy!), had lunch at a great seafood place on the Wharf, had cannoli in Little Italy (awesome!), and then the night tour of Alcatra -- no, I did not leave Alan there.

June 20 -- Happy Birthday, Paul and Janice
Happy birthday, Paul, and happy birthday, Janice! We may be all the way across the country from you guys, but we're thinking of you!
Today's plan is to ride a trolley car, see Lombard Street, sight-seeing at Fisherman's Wharf, and the the night tour by ferry over to Alcatraz. I might leave Alan there...

Post Wedding and Chinatown
So...yesterday, Alan and I met John, Sheena, and some of their groomsmen and girls for a post-wedding breakfast -- before heading back to the winery to help clean up the leftover boxes of booze and gifts, etc. And, it's the last time we'll see the kids until....who knows when. John will be deployed again soon -- two days after they return from their honeymoon -- July 12. To the Phillipians this time. BUT, until then, those two are going to have a great trip, I'm sure. Can't tell you where yet, though, until John tells Sheena...which should be in just a couple of hours, when they arrive at LAX for the first leg of the trip...
Here are some shots taken yesterday at the post-wedding breakfast, then at Chinatown where we all had some dinner.

Bride and Groom!
Here's one taken by Jacole on her phone -- such happiness!
This was taken as they walked into the reception area, brought in by trolley after the ceremony in the vineyard. Stunning!

Wedding! June 18th
I can't believe my "baby" is married! And to the most beautiful woman... To me, there was only one word to describe that wedding celebration -- fantastical!
I don't have as good as pictures of some because I was in the wedding, of course, and had to give my camera to another guest and just hope for the best. Here are a few:

Spa Day, Tuesday June 18th
The morning of the wedding, while the guys all went golfing -- Dad, Alan, Russ, Jack, Tom, John, and all the groomsemen -- us girls went to a local spa and got nails, hair, and makeup done for the wedding. Sheena brought in champagne and cheese and crackers and fresh fruit, and burritos!

Monday, Winery Tour, June 17th
On Monday, we did a winery tour of three vineyards -- Buena Vista, Chateau St. Jean, and St. Francis. It was such a blast! The shuttle bus picked us up -- all 26 -- and it was a quiet "get to know your neighbor" type ride to Buena Vista. By the time we got on the bus to go to the second winery, there was music playing on the bus, and the noise level had gone up considerably. By the time we headed home after the third winery, Shannon was doing a "pole" dance and you couldn't hear yourself think on the bus! We had so much fun!
And then there was rehearsal, and rehearsal dinner -- no pictures of that, I'm afraid. It was too dark in the restaurant and way too many people, but fun!
